Watching these apes play, move and climb tree branches and feed is absolutely a rewarding experience for life. The processing of looking for these great primates can take 2-6hours depending on their location and it requires a certain level of fitness. After finding them always you are allowed 1 hour in close contact and take photos.

Programme for the 5 days Gorillas & Chimpanzee tracking tour
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park.
Wake up early morning have your breakfast at your hotel place of residence, and later meet with your trip driver guide for pick up and transfer to Kibale forest national park while enjoying the beautiful land and views of the green tea plantations with lunch enroute in Fortpotal town. After lunch in the beautiful tourism city, proceed to Kibale forest National Park. Check in your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay as you prepare next beautiful day of adventure.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp walk
Early in the morning after taking breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on Chimpanzee tracking and then embark into the forest in groups of 8 people led by a park ranger guide in search for the chimps in their habitat. On finding them, you will be allowed 1 hour in physical and photography. During the search for chimps expect to see L’Hoest monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked Mangabey, red tailed monkeys, the bush babies, a variety of forest bird species which include; green breasted pitta, rumped tinker bird, yellow spotted nicator, and the green breasted pitta and beautiful colored butterflies . After chimp tracking, you will get back to your lodge for lunch, relax abit and then head to Bigodi swamp for nature walk to enjoy many bird species, the great blue turuco, baboons and many others. After, transfer back to your lodge and retire for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park via Ishasha
You will wake a bit early in the morning have your tasty breakfast and start up your journey to Bwindi through Ishasha sector for incredible sights of the famous tree climbing lions as you proceed to Bwindi arriving late in the evening. Checks in your booked accommodation retire for dinner and overnight as you get ready for next big day in the jungle with the gentle giants.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National park
Wake early in the morning have breakfast and go to the park headquarters for briefing on Gorilla trekking and later embark into the forest led by park ranger guide in search for the gentle giants in their natural habitat. This is a tropical rain forest whose weather is sometimes un predictable, so you need to be equipped with all the requirements as far as gorilla trekking requires for example; rain jackets, long sleeved shirts, long pair of trousers, sunglasses, hiking boots with stockings, caps and insect repellents not forgetting some snacks and bottled drinking water . Enjoy your gorilla trekking experience and later return to the park headquarters with a ranger guide to meet your trip driver guide for transfer to the lodge to relax and refresh up for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala

After, continue to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon for a transfer to your hotel or Airport.
